Will diet alone & light exercise help me lose 10 pounds? |
|
I'm eliminating bread, pasta, potatoes, red meat (only for a while), cheese, and sweets. Instead I'm focusing on beans, raw and cooked vegetables, fruits, egg whites, whole grain/high fiber cereal, salad, avocados, cream-less soups, chicken, turkey, and salmon. I'm doing very light exercise such as jumping jacks, sit ups, crutches. Would all of this help me lose 10 pounds within the next month and a half?

Not enough information to say. If I just stopped drinking beer I'd probably lose that in 2 weeks. Soft drinks including alcohol along with calorie restricting diets appear to be the biggest causes of obesity.

In general if you eat only what you listed (making sure you get enough protein) and exercise lightly (walking is great) you should lose weight (unless you are already the proper weight).

Taking a run outside and if you are indoors try working around the house like gardening and vacuming that will surely help you get to you desired weight. Also try taking some vitamins i know those will help.

I think both things are very useful for weight loss.
If you did exercise daily then i think you wouldn't to need
any diet but always avoid junk foods during weight loss.

Both exercise and diet foods are helpful for losing the weight.
Raw fruits and vegetables are good diet in case of weight gaining, along with diet exercise is necessary for losing the weight.
Exercise must be done daily and for a proper time.

Diet soft drinks are linked to causing obesity, and what do you mean by diet? -Calorie restriction diet? Calories are our fuel and get stored as glycogen. Deplete glycogen faster than you can replenish it and you get burned out (fail diet + exercise). Anyway, what is the point of your posts? You think people haven't heard all this flawed overly common advice before? I'd rather read about how you can lose weight by snorting coke.

Just don't make hard exercising or you will not goona achieve the results you are seeking..

Regular exercise and proper diet is key of healthy life. I lose my over weight with the help of this two. and I enjoy the my healthy life.

Exercise and diet both are useful for losing weight. With light exercise like walk and diet food like fruits and vegetables we can lose 10 pounds in a days easily.

Off course with diet and light exercise you can loss weight easily. I think losing 10 pounds is not a very difficult task. Just do 30 minutes exercise and eat less but don't skip any meal.

If you just start eliminating the some of the food will not help you to lose weight as there are lots of things like salt, sugar etc are causes of not loosing weight even if you are on diet. So I would suggest you consult a dietician who will guide you with your daily food plan and even will suggest what type of exercise will help you to loose that 10 pounds.
