I looked over what the many discussion topics are in the main forum page of this site and it looks certainly interesting, covering a considerably broad range. How often I'll be able to participate, I don't know, but will certainly try to pay this site some attention. It's certainly better than LetsRoll911, given that it's topic-specific.

Hello to everyone anyway, though.

mike corbeil

P.S. If any people reading this aren't yet familiar with what's really been going and continues to go on in Colombia, or the stories of what either or both Kay Griggs or Mr Karmilowicz have been exposing, then there are some links on these in my following cmaq (Quebec's IMC website) post.

http://www.cmaq.net/en/node/24047

That post will provide you with an idea of the kind of information that is of interest to me, and therefore more about what kind of character I am.

The article on Colombia is the one by Rev. John Dear, while the one on Mr Karmilowicz is by Alex Cockburn, and the Kay Griggs links are easy to see. All of these are in the very first post. (I also added comments to provide more links, because the original post isn't editable.)

Hi and welcome!

Always glad to get some positive feedback after the 1 in 100 replies like this:

WTF....Who the F*CK are you? and why send me your span SH*T....STOP!! do not do it again or I will report you....GOT IT!!

I am all about 9/11 only....have a nice day

Well, I would have used Letroll IF they hadn't wasted an hour of my time one day when a mod asked me to validify a statement I had made only to turn around and delete it after compiling quotes and links for that forum. For this reason I didn't feel bad about piling up 44 pages in my outbox of solicitations. Very Happy -2 and 1/2 days of straight up spamming!

I should change my nick to mister spamtastic!

The LR post of mine, the one that you read and then sent me the invitation, I was totally new to LR, only made that one post, or maybe a couple, and have not gone back since, for there's little that I can really add there. With respect to the very latter, I've already posted links here, and am satisfied with this, as long as they're accepted, here.

And, as you said, LR is a forum which is strictly on the topic of 9/11, whereas OD is broad, covering plenty of topic areas, and many enough that are of interest to me. If I'm going to spend time exchanging in forums, then I prefer this style for such a site, for my interests are broad enough and this breadth is certainly more convenient and therefore user-friendly, than it would be to use many different forum sites that are all topic-specific. That would be a real nuisance, needing to log in many times, and to keep track of many more usernames and passwords, as if I don't have enough of that to do, already.

Anyway, thanks for the invitation, and hopefully OD will appreciate what I may or will post here. If anything's ever out of line with the requirements for people using these forums, that is, in what I post, then a simple request will get a correction quickly applied. Am willing to be fair, instead of trying to force my views, say, on others. Am never willing to be unfair.

However, all users here and who are racist, xenophobic, or anything of the like, these people can know right now that I'm against such human outlooks, for what I aim to be is as truly Christian as humanly possible, and Jesus provided an excellent and short dialogue which teaches to be non-prejudicial, to not judge based on only appearances, etc. Let me explain, and note that it's not to push religion on anyone, only to explain my personal perspective on the world and Life.

It's the dialogue in which He asked some apostles how they could realise that they had, or not, real discernment. The first two apostles, referring to the differences between darkness and light, or night and day, and wolves (including disguised) and lambs or sheep, well, Jesus said 'NO'. The third apostle realising that the first two were wrong and that he might very well also be, while also believing Jesus knew the answer, he asked Jesus for it.

Upon that Jesus said that it's when you can look at your neighbours, fellow human beings, and truly perceive the presence of God in them.

He taught that with respect to it applying to the worst of evil doing humans in our world, rather than only for innocent, truthful, caring, ..., people, and it makes total sense that He would have been this broadly comprehensive in the principle of this teaching.

How does it make total sense? God (again, not wanting pushing religion, only presenting my personal perspective) Created all that is, is Creator of Humanity from the very start, so all humans, no matter how evil doing they are, are of God's human family on earth. What happens to souls after departing from this world, this is a whole other matter, and it depends on each individual's conscience, whether or not they reject loving God in return for His Love, or not. (Plenty of people are of different religions and religious beliefs about God, but many of these people live according to real, true Christian values too, and this is very important for true Christians to very carefully keep in mind, or else seriously risk being contrary to Jesus.) For as long as such people are alive here, Jesus taught true or significantly true followers about the need to forgive, and to pray for enemies.

If anyone is in need of prayer, then the enemies of humanity and who are among humanity are these people. They need far more praying for than all others, for they're the furthest away from and rejectful of God's Love, or God's Will and Way, or simply God.

My only bias or prejudice is against evil. I hate evil, and I don't feel bad about this, for God also Hates Evil.

Again, none of that is meant in terms of pushing religious faith on anyone, it's only to present my personal perspective on the world and Life. People who don't wish to believe in this manner are free, for God says so, but He doesn't prevent or forbid people truly trying to be in line with His Will and Way from being social order and inter-religious activists, trying to inspire real Justice, as opposed to supporting bigotted justice and therefore injustice.

After all, for true Christians, Jesus told the apostles to spread the Good News. But one thing He also taught was that this inherently meant to do so according to how He did so, which means to not try to bash our religious faith into or onto others. To present, share, this is one thing and fine, as long as it's done without exercising any injustices. To bash, impose, however, this is to be contrary to Jesus, and that's something this individual wishes to always avoid doing, whether it be wittingly or unwittingly, it's to be never done on my part. That doesn't meant that it's guaranteed that I never will "slip up", but it's my goal to not do so in His and God's regards.

Simple and insignificant, non-harmful "slip-ups" are one thing, while serious ones are another.

If people here accept this kind of openness to Humanity, then I'll be able to make full use of this OD forum. Otherwise, my use would be either none or very limited.

While I may make references to religious faith matters now and then, I have no intention of using this site or OD forum for religious preaching, or anything of the like, although it can sometimes and nevertheless appear as if I'm doing the contrary (appearances are to be wary of though). Where or when providing religious references can if not will help to make my perspective only more clear, then I don't refrain from doing this. But I don't want to push religion on anyone, only using it to more fully make clear my view and reasoning. And it usually references only the human, social order teachings of Jesus, and these are quite universally understandable and acceptable by anyone of sufficiently sound mind or outlook, and real-world, reality-based education.

I look at the Big Picture, instead of only bits of it. Of course I don't know everything, all of the details in the "Big Picture", but it's the approach employed to try to understand the whole of what's really going on. F.e., for Americans to truly know their country as much as is humanly feasible, it's crucial to look at what the government and the nation's corporations have done and are doing elsewhere. If we refuse to do that, then we inherently state that we're hate-monger, bigotted, certainly un- or anti-Christian (Jesus was no American and was not white), etc.

Again, if this kind of broad openness is accepted here, then I'll be able to far more fully make use of this OD forum. Else, very limited would my use of the forum be, just a bit here and there, now and then.

I truly wish to seek Truth and that requires truly be OPEN.

While I was a believer in the Bible; I was very appreciative of a site that didn't censor the contents of it (most christian forums do from what I can see). I have no problem with you posting this kind of content as long as you don't mind me possibly moving it to a more suitable forum such as religion and philosophy. Also, anything you say is open to informed debate even from me, but I'll try to resist the dork side by not using my 1337 admin powers to censor anyone unfairly. That said, I did put up a page on this server (though I don't think I linked it to the main page) that does pertain to this subject. It's research that helped me to look for God in nature as I believe the Bible indicates: Jesus pointing to nature as being evidence of God. It helped me see clearly the erroneous notion that just because of some awesome prophecies, and scientific sweetness in the KJV OT (taken from the Torah/ Tanach) that the whole Bible isn't authenticated because of some plagiarized content. -Otherwise the book of mormon would be validified wouldn't it? The page is here: http://www.opposingdigits.com/FalseApostle/

I'm strongly opposed to censoring to show favor to any religious or atheist group (as many conspiracy and religious sites and forums do)! I think I've lost some "christians" because of this but if that's their style then is it a loss? Shall we institute the crusades, witch hunts, inquisitions, etc again? Just keep the discussion informed and avoid the "i think" crap if you can. Wink My position on religion in general is that it's used as a tool to control people wether it's based on truth or not:

Matthew 26:52 52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

I've read the Bible many times through, and am finally convinced that it is not infallible, and that most people believe in it out of fear (if you truelly believed it was God breathed; wouldn't you study it intensly as I have)? I don't have any problems with you or anyone using it here, but likewise I don't have any problems with people contesting it. Truth is what I'm after and we shouldn't need censorship for that.

I have censored spam (or moved it to spam pit), will not tolerate over repetitiveness especially in "i think" type dialogue, and I like to keep things organized. I hope that I've been fair with people about moving posts -hopefully they'll post in the bitchfits/ praises forum if not.

-Glad to have you Mike wether we're in religious harmony or not!
