I was reading this biography about John Dee, and I ran across this particular part, where he was moved to comment on the ignorance, and the superstitious nature of those who criticized himself, and his work, and accused him, basically, of working for "the devil". When I read it I thought of the annoyance these forum idiots have cause you, and I thought you, and some of the other blog readers might enjoy hearing from another great soul, from another time, plagued with THE SAME DAMNED IDIOTS (they probably reincarnated just to try and mess with you in the same way they did with Dr. John Dee). So, here's the quote from the biography ......
"Then he (Dee) recounts his years of study, and asks, "Should I have fished with so large and costly a nett, and been so long time drawing, even with the helpe of Lady Philosophie and Queen Theologie, and at length have catched but a frog, nay a Devill?...How great is the blindness and boldness of the multitude in things above their capacitie!"
Then he refers to some who have appeared against him in print.
"O my unkind countrymen. O unnatural Countrymen, O unthankfull countrymen, O brainsicke, Rashe, spitefull and disdainfull countrymen. Why oppresse you me thus violently with your slaundering of me, contrary to veritie, and contrary to your own conscience? And I, to this hower, neither by worde, deede or thought, have bene anyway hurtfull, damageable, or injurious to you or yours! Have I so long, so dearly, so farre, so carefully, so painfully, so dangerously fought and travailed for the learning of wisedome and atteyning of vertue, and in the end am I become worse than when I began? Worse than a madman, a dangerous member in teh Commonwelath and no Member of the Church of Christ? Call you this to be learned? Call you this to be a philosopher and a lover of wisdome?"
He goes on to speak of examples before his time to whom in godliness and learning he is not worthy to be compared: - "patient Socrates," Apuleius, Joannes Picus and Trithemius, Roger Bacon, "the flower of whose worthy fame can never dye nor wither," and ends by summing up the people who can conceive nothing outside the compass of their capacity as of four sorts: - "vain prattling busybodies, fond friends, imperfectly zealous, and malicious ignorant." Of these he is inclined to think the fond friends the most damaging, for they overshoot the mark and relate marvels and wonderful feats which were never done, or had any spark of likelihood to be done, in order that other men may marvel at their hap to have such a learned friend.
Like yourself, the man (John Dee) certainly has a way with words, which is why MOST of us are here, listening, learning, coming around, late night, like Francis Bacon, to learn what we may. It is an honor, and a pleasure to be here, and to have you sharing your wisdom, the lifelong result of your studies.
It seems to me that, this spat is just another teaching, for those who have ears, and, the more it feels like strong medicine, the more a person probably needs to hear it.
But dont you see, they think I cannot write and dont know about the English language? Pure point-winners, interogative types, as James Redfield would call them...
Idiots is a far better term.
Maybe he's h4X0r3d?
*update - Looks like it got fixed.

He has to clear all the blogg comments himself, so its possibly a mistake, but at the same time, it would confirm a suspicion that I have had about that issue.

oheheheh; you think he's h4X0r3d? Listen to Stuart Wilde sometime, lol... talking about a "morphic gateway to other worlds that he claims exists at 280 degrees around the compass if you are facing north and at a 45 degree tangent downward, below you." ...no really, he says stuff like that! lol
...I mean, I could plausibly understand the potential possibility of morphic gateways to other worlds, ...but "280 degrees around the compass if you are facing north and at a 45 degree tangent downward, below you?" ...that's just pushing it! The guy has smoked too much Dimethyltryptamine, lol.
The even crazier thing is I've chatted in new age groups that actually believe in what he's saying (even that), swear by it, and defend it to the end!

Nah, I don't think he was hacked, and I don't look at it as a discredit. It's no different than sites asking people to vote for them on some top site, or people at these sites being told to go vote on some news webpage poll about 911, or Alex Jones falsely claiming that he predicted 911 or busted Bohemian Grove wide open. This does surprise me coming from someone so well known (and to his credit I didn't know who he was til yesterday). We often don't even realise that stunts like this may be planned. I wonder how many other people found out about him simply because of this.
I could beg and beg all I wanted to to try to get people to advertise this site for me and I'd get no where. But if I put up a fake "yu0'v b33n h4X0r3d " page I bet some people would post about it on other forums and traffic would go up immediately. -It's so tempting. I oughtta leave the ads on for it too!
Well, now I feel like a tool for helping him get free publicity.

BINGO
I enjoy some of his material, I won't lie, but at the same time, do you see me making thread after thread about the guy, like the people who love (or love to hate) him over at "the forum"?

-rub it in why don't ya! :(
I only watched a portion of one of his vids. It was interesting, but then seemed like a lecture of fictional story telling where he was just making stuff up to correlate things like most religious lectures.
Before long I'll probably install the merge threads mod to handle situations like the forum has (yeah it's ridiculous!). I like the forum, but it wasn't quite what I really wanted; hense this site.

Yes, that place is a sexual intercourse mess.
Tsarions material is interesting man, thats all. Its just an interesting take on collective mythology.
He seems to have extensive knowlege in regards to that topic, and i have read alot of mythology and such over the course of my life, so I find it interesting when there is a conspiracy slant to it.
His stuff on astrology and such is also very interesting, you notice no one attacks his validity on that subject, because thats one thing he seems to have a definate speicality in. Hes like a David Icke who actually knows things about Majick and all that shit, and he is not pushing infinite hippy love vibrations, which is indeed a bunch of New Age bullshit.
Having a fair bit of knowlege on these matters, from my studies long before I got into conspiracies, I find it interesting.
Its an interesting take on the entire subject that I had not heard before, and aspects of it make alot of sense.
I still disagree with alot of his shit, but the way they take the piss out of him on "the forum" is IMO exactly the kind of thing that is wrong with so many conspiracy people.
All that "Oh my god, he doesn't believe that Crowley was an evil bastard, he must be a Satanist!" is the exact caricature bullshit that makes us all look bad, IMO.
Information is neutral, ya know? I have read some of Crowley's stuff, and I have never come across any of that evil shit that people accuse him of, and who knows if he actually even wrote everything thats attributed to him?
I just think people jump to conclusions too much n shit, and then go off about it.
Its interesting, I read a book in which Crowley was supposedly channeling information about Atlantis, and in the book he said they had a dumbed down slave class, whos very language was designed and limited to keep their awarness from anything aside from their daily work and mindless play activities and mating.
Weather or not thats bullshit, you can see the same sort of thing happening to us in our modern age, and even with some of the christian mind control that existed for centuries, and that is interesting as well.
Am I brainwashed now because I read some Crowley when I was younger ?
All that nonesense going on, I can see why he said what he did.
I signed up at the place almost a year ago, soon after joining Con Cen but I didnt even start posting until recently, because I could not stomache all the bullshit and infinite hippy love shit on there.
I seriously felt like I was getting Delphied into a world of carefree hippy love shit just trying to read the posts.
I really only started going there after being Pursueded by teslafire who I met on a Paranormal site, when Con Cen was on the rocks.
The forum is highly amusing more than anything else, there is little to actually be learned there.
All that said, I still would not rule out that Tsarion is an agent or something, its just sexual intercourse silly the way people there approach the whole issue IMO.
On Tsarion, I honestly don't think he is a disinfo agent, he has a very interesting view on the world and that what we need, more ways of looking at history and the world.
.
He is not pushing New Age BS, its very much Pagan or Ancient mythology, it did ok by those people so why not?
Nobody knows the truth so why pretend we do, lets just put everything on the table and lets what we have.

to me the guy just keeps you going in circles and reminds me of new age agenda crap at times.
I agree, but I put that down to him not having all the answers so he has to repeat what he knows.
If only there was more criss crossing of fields and disciplines instead of people who are specialist in only one field, even the researchers are compartmentalised.
