Some examples :

471 EAN Taiwan

Notice that these one have NOTHING to do with Israël.

A barcode starting with "729" indicates that this product is produced in Israël

Don't buy them if you want to protest against the current agression!!

Sometimes brands are misleading, a barcode never lies if it carries that 729 !!!

I have tried to Boycott the Kosher Taxed goods since money ends up helping Israel.

many products contain a U or K but there are over 400+ Kosher taxing companies.

It is not as easy as one might think.

but I hear you a list of zionist companies and people should be generated to boycott.

Who the hell are we kidding. Boycotts don't work anymore. Sooner or later I'm going to need tampons. Couldn't we just start a company that sells those things at competitive prices? We'd outdo Kotex for sure! It's foolproof. Every woman between the ages of 12 and 49 would stop buying from them and buy from us.

The regime in Iran is reponsible for thousands of deaths...thousands....far more than the State of Israel.
So BOYCOTT IRAN! They tortured thosands...so boycott them!!!!
Also, Boycott the U.S. whose military has killed far more than Israel or Iran. Boycott all the businesses and workplaces of Americans. Boycott the Fortune 500, Boycott all their suppliers, just treat everyone in the U.S. as guilty of backing the U.S. policies. They are all evil because they are U.S. citizens! RIght??? Boycott the small businesses that supply the big businesses, boycott their psychologists! Boycott the right and left of the United States which does nothing to effectively stop the killing...they must be guilty and responsible too for the U.S. evil. You see the Israelis have a peace movement, but by the boycott logic they are irrelevant colonizers who should not be supported, but their workplaces should be boycotted.

Don't get me wrong, I do think pressure should be put on Israel...but in this buckshot approach is mindless and the work of simpletons and many sympathizers of states like Iran and Syria which could care less about imperialism, democracy and torture.

Denmark has very reactionary policies against its immigrants. I would like to boycott that country.
Russia, well they are dominated by thugs and support other thug like countries. I don't like their policies towards certain minority groups. Boytcott them also! If you boycott Israel, please make sure to boycott these countries as well.
Oh, by the way, Syria has a Kurdish population that lacks a state. Boycott Syria until they give up part of their country to a new Kurdish homeland.

Dear Benjamin, thanks for your note. I am not going to ask if you have Jewish roots and how this might explain your thinking (see my other posts which suggests to do so would be idiotic). What would you like evidence of? Pick up a book about the history of the Vietnam War and see how the U.S. bombed civilian areas...just like they did in Afghanistan and Iran. That merits boycotting. I don't get your last point about Syria. All I know is that they don't have free elections, waste a lot of their budget on military systems, don't support any kind of socialist or capitalist variant of democracy, and suppor Hizbollah which sends missiles against civilians. I assume that you don't support that. And I assume that you understand that just because I criticize that group does not mean that I support Israel. Please explain to me why the United States should not be boycotted. They basically have an economic apartheid system which in SOME ways parallels the way that Israel creates little bantustans for the Palestinians for example. Dear Ben,

I don't hate Americans. Rather, I was just trying to show the absurdity of your arguments. You claim you are not resonsible because you voted against Bush, i.e. no boycott against America. Then, you fail to see how a boycott against Israel might similarly penalize Israelis who vote against or act against war. But, no matter. I still think some economic pressure should be put on Israel to reform, but am convinced that you people are totally hipocritical. The USA is just as war-like and responsible for the war in Lebanon as Israel, in fact more so as they make the weapons and gave them the green-light. So you should start you boycott by boycotting your self and your own country. Do you pay taxes to the US government? Well guess where a lot of that money goes? It goes into weapons systems used in places like Lebanon. So, while you pass by Israeli oranges in the supermarket, you might think about your taxes and what they are used for.

Second, you people who cite Bobby Fischer a rabid-anti-Semite with Jewish background should really be ashamed of yourselves. Anyone who can read the newspapers knows that this guy is totally neurotic and has made disgusting anti-Semitic remarks. But, no. You can't accept this because of what Israel does.
