You're correct. People don't understand why such a "horrid event" such as the Holohoax would be created. Apparently, they haven't read much of history, or have selective memories, much like the American media and American history books.
I have SEVERAL links and .pdf's regarding Judea's declaration of war on Germany, as well as other information which completely backs up the facts about the holocaust being faked.
Besides that, I have my own theories as to why such an event would be staged...

This is a new video by an anonymous researcher in San Francisco about the Holocaust. It is 4 hours and 15 minutes long. There's nothing of this caliber that I've seen on the web so far, video wise, on this subject.
He ruthlessly decontructs the myths surrounding the three camps Sobibor, Treblinka and Belzek, which are supposed to account for roughly one-third of the [imaginary] Holocaust deaths. So the video is called "One Third of the Holocaust." Can't recommend it more highly. Fantastic work. The style of it as well is totally inspirational. It's not really hard to make your own documentary these days, and this will really give you an idea of how to go about it.

This post is VERRRY interesting. I have a friend who lives in a Palestinian refugee camp in South Lebanon, and somehow the Holocaust came up, and I was criticizing him for not believing in it, and he was very nice and understanding, like, I understand that it's what you've been taught since you were a small child.
