Chemtrails?
ive done a little looking into chemtrails. and i see strange vapor trails in the skies around where i live every day. but all the sites i looked at dont say what they think the chemtrail is. can someone send me a good link? if not i think this is a bunch of shite...
Mentioned are Barium and Aluminum which is strongly linked to Alzheimers.
I wonder if they also use perchlorates (used in rocket fuel, air bags, aluminum production, etc) as an oxidizer also. Perchlorates could cause thyroid disease.

NAIROBI — If the sun warms the Earth too dangerously, the time may come to draw the shade.
The "shade" would be a layer of pollution deliberately spewed into the atmosphere to help cool the planet. The proposal comes from prominent scientists, among them a Nobel laureate. The reaction here at the annual U.N. conference on climate change is a mix of caution, curiosity and some resignation to such "massive and drastic" operations, as the chief U.N. climatologist describes them.
The Nobel Prize-winning scientist who first made the proposal is himself "not enthusiastic about it."
"It was meant to startle the policymakers," said Paul J. Crutzen, of Germany's Max Planck Institute for Chemistry. "If they don't take action much more strongly than they have in the past, then in the end we have to do experiments like this."
Serious people are taking Crutzen's idea seriously. This weekend at Moffett Field, California, NASA's Ames Research Center hosts a closed-door, high-level workshop on the global haze proposal and other "geoengineering" ideas for fending off climate change.
In Nairobi, meanwhile, hundreds of delegates were wrapping up a two-week conference expected to only slowly advance efforts to rein in greenhouse gases blamed for much of the 0.6-degree-Celsius (1-degree-Fahrenheit) rise in global temperatures in the past century.
The 1997 Kyoto Protocol requires modest emission cutbacks by industrial countries -- but not the United States, the biggest emitter of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases, because it rejected Kyoto. Talks on what to do after Kyoto expires in 2012 are all but bogged down.
When he published his proposal in the journal Climatic Change in August, Crutzen cited a "grossly disappointing international political response" to warming.
The Dutch climatologist, awarded a 1995 Nobel in chemistry for his work uncovering the threat to Earth's atmospheric ozone layer, suggested that balloons bearing heavy guns be used to carry sulfates high aloft and fire them into the stratosphere.
While carbon dioxide keeps heat from escaping Earth, substances such as sulfur dioxide, a common air pollutant, reflect solar radiation, helping cool the planet.
Tom Wigley, a senior U.S. government climatologist, followed Crutzen's article with a paper of his own Oct. 20 in the leading U.S. journal Science. Like Crutzen, Wigley cited the precedent of the huge volcanic eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines in 1991.
Pinatubo poured so much sulfurous debris into the stratosphere that it is believed it cooled the Earth by 0.5 degrees Celsius (0.9 degrees Fahrenheit) for about a year.
Wigley ran scenarios of stratospheric sulfate injection -- on the scale of Pinatubo's estimated 10 million tons of sulfur -- through supercomputer models of the climate, and reported that Crutzen's idea would, indeed, seem to work. Even half that amount per year would help, he wrote.
A massive dissemination of pollutants would be needed every year or two, as the sulfates precipitate from the atmosphere in acid rain.
The American scientist said a temporary shield would give political leaders more time to reduce human dependence on fossil fuels -- main source of greenhouse gases. He said experts must more closely study the feasibility of the idea and its possible effects on stratospheric chemistry.
Nairobi conference participants agreed.
"Yes, by all means, do all the research," Indian climatologist Rajendra K. Pachauri, chairman of the 2,000-scientist U.N. network on climate change, told The Associated Press.
But "if human beings take it upon themselves to carry out something as massive and drastic as this, we need to be absolutely sure there are no side effects," Pachauri said.
Philip Clapp, a veteran campaigner for emissions controls to curb warming, also sounded a nervous note, saying, "We are already engaged in an uncontrolled experiment by injecting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere."
But Clapp, president of the U.S. group National Environmental Trust, said, "I certainly don't disagree with the urgency."
American geophysicist Jonathan Pershing, of Washington's World Resources Institute, was also wary of unforeseen consequences, but said the idea might be worth considering "if down the road 25 years it becomes more and more severe because we didn't deal with the problem."
By telephone from Germany, Crutzen said that's what he envisioned: global haze as a component for long-range planning. "The reception on the whole is more positive than I thought," he said.
Pershing added, however, that reaction may hinge on who pushes the idea. "If it's the U.S., it might be perceived as an effort to avoid the problem," he said.
NASA said this weekend's California conference will examine "methods to ameliorate the likelihood of progressively rising temperatures over the next decades." Other such U.S. government-sponsored events are scheduled to follow.

The effects of cadmium spraying over a city in the 1960s are to be investigated after claims that it was linked with cancer of the oesophagus.
North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb was told of the decision by the Department of Health after he tabled questions to Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt.
"There are many concerns about the possible effect of cadmium spraying in Norwich and the cancer," Mr Lamb said.
Cadmium powder was sprayed over part of the city during weapons testing.
The investigation will involve the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the local Primary Care Trust, the Cancer Registry and the local Public Health Observatory.
'No link'
Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health Caroline Flint informed Mr Lamb of the investigation, adding: "I am advised that it is unlikely the zinc cadmium sulphide dispersion trials have resulted in any long term health effects."
Campaigners claim that Norwich has a higher number of cases of cancer of the oesophagus than the national average.
Peter Brambleby, director of public health at the Norwich Primary Care Trust denies this and is on record as saying that he could find "no link between the spraying and this cancer".
He said: "My examination of the most up-to-date data for Norwich shows a low incidence and lower than expected incidence of oesophageal cancer."
'Simulate dissemination'
But earlier this year Mr Wyn Parry, a consultant at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and a specialist in oesophageal cancer, said more research was needed on this type of cancer.
"I see patients across Norfolk and we would expect to see between 120 and 130 cases (national average) but we are seeing between 170 and 180. Perhaps 50% more than the national population."
A small quantity of cadmium was sprayed over parts of the city as part of a Ministry of Defence experiment on chemical dispersal.
The Ministry of Defence said the experiment, which its scientists say was safe, was to "simulate the airborne dissemination" of biological warfare agents in the air.

They didn't actually confirm barium in chem-trails, or that chem-trails even exist. Suppose you owned a factory, and one of your smokestacks gave off barium as a by-product of manufacturing. You seize the opportunity to take advantage of conspiracy theorist whack-jobs claims about chem-trails to take the target off your back. Zionist owned media volunteers to help you out by giving the whack jobs some fuel for their fire in order to discredit their opponents as well as get them to use them as a resource. Meanwhile a possibly non-existent scapegoat takes blame for your pollution.
There are many questions unanswered: How are they doing it, and why isn't anyone credible coming forward? What exactly is being put in the chem-trail cocktail (not what's coming out of the sky or possibly trees in the back yard). What is the purpose of them? We know the US government experiments on it's soldiers, but that's localized and controlled. What reason do we have to believe that they'd experiment on citizens indiscriminately even poisoning themselves without a profit motivator?
Most of what we hear about chem-trails is likely nonsense; like how they don't disperse as fast as contrails. People are ignorant to how many different kinds of clouds we have as a result of varying pressures, temperatures, winds, etc. Contrails likely behave similarly to clouds and won't all be the same. The distance they are from the viewer can change their appearance as well.
Now I've gotten a lot of criticism for scoffing at "chem-trails". I'm not saying they don't exist, or aren't being tested in certain areas. I will say that there's a lot of nonsense floating around about them, a lot of jumping to conclusions, and a religious like belief in them. What is their motive for using them, and what is their motive for wanting us to think they're using them? It could be a bit of both.

The military planes of the German Federal Army are manipulating our climate; this is what the weather researchers are presuming and their suspicions are confirmed.
Sinister clouds, up to 350 km long, appear all of a sudden on the radar, but only on the meteorological radars. The first time it happened was in the summer of 2005. and then in March of 2006. The German army has admitted having war exercises towards the borders with the Netherlands.

In the United States of America there are protest after protest for many years now, against these military operations and now people are mobilizing in Germany as well. Per example JOHANNES REMMEL of the Greens.
It's obvious that enormous regions are being polluted with clandestine actions, but all of this has to be made public. The government must provide explanations to the unsuspecting population.
Yet the story continues: in the following three weeks the instruments register other activities of suspicious aircrafts, similar to the previously mentioned, above other areas of Germany. Meanwhile the satellited imagery is clearly counterfeited by the military.
From our observations we can conclude that they fly over the regions of Westfalia, Bielefeld, the Ruhr zone to Saxony and Hamburg, forming a really dense layer of artificial cloud-cover.

I don't know if it exactly makes it fact until they are caught red handed in the act with a clear video. However they have openly admitted to owning the weather so it may very well be a bit of truth they occasionally feed us to see if we are paying attention.

Humans tampering with the atmosphere may be causing extreme weather patterns, experts believe.
They believe that the debate on climate change has ignored the role of environmental manipulation projects.
Artificial manipulation of the climate is nothing new. During the Vietnam war, the US military used cloud seeding techniques to cause torrential rain and disrupt enemy supply lines.
Last month, Chinese media reported that the Communist party was preparing 'rain-prevention techniques' to be used on the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics this year.
But some experts believe that new technology can enable governments to manipulate climate patterns globally for military use.
Extreme weather patterns in recent years, such as record numbers of hurricanes, floods and droughts across the world, may have been the result of such technology being tested, they claim.
Without concrete evidence to support them, such claims to many remain little more than a hot topic for conspiracy theorists. But there are things about the various atmospheric research projects run by the US military that that do not stack up.
The High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) based in Gokona, Alaska, an array of transmitters pointed toward the sky, is claimed to be a scientific endeavour for studying the properties and behaviour of the upper atmosphere (ionosphere).
It consists of an 'Ionospheric Research Instrument', which fires a beam of energy at the upper atmosphere, and a series of other antenna for monitoring changes.
But to many the project resembles a 'death ray' with all the hallmarks of a James Bond film. Canadian economist and policy adviser Dr Michel Chossudovsky calls it a "weapon of mass destruction".
The project is funded by the U.S. airforce and navy, and on its website claims that a key purpose is to "enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defence purposes"
The idea is to magnify communications signals so they can be received by receivers on submarines and underground bunkers.
But, according to some, the facility also possesses the capability to knock out communications in a wide area of the world, by making modifications to the ionosphere.
If the facility has been used for this purpose it is doubtful that we would ever find out. In 1977 the U.S. was signatory to an international convention which banned "military or other hostile use of environmental modification techniques having widespread, long-lasting or severe effects".
It defined "environmental modification techniques" as "any technique for changing – through the deliberate manipulation of natural processes—the dynamics, composition or structure of the earth, including its biota, lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, or of outer space".
However, according to Dr Choussudovsky, the scientific establishment has since been mute on the possibility that unusual weather patterns may have arisen from artificial manipulation.
"This is one of the most powerful weapons in the world but no-one mentions it at the policy level. This has potentially devastating consequences for the environment, yet no one dares to raise it when they meet on the global climate agenda.
"This is a weapon of mass destruction in the truest sense of the word. It could be used to interfere with the climate in a wide area without anyone knowing anything about it."
According to radiation expert Dr Rosalie Bertell, HAARP has the facility for disrupting weather patterns.
She said: "I believe that this is an attempt to influence the course of the Vapor Rivers [streams of vapour carried in the lower atmosphere], five each in the northern and southern hemisphere, which bring rain from the tropics into the temperate zones.
"The course of these rivers, when changed, can cause drought or flooding. It is also likely that the HAARP manipulations of the ionosphere can influence the shape of the jet streams, which in turn have effects on temperature and local weather patterns."
Her research is corroborated by Nick Begich, an author and associate of Dr Bernard Eastlund, one of the figures behind the creation of HAARP.
According to Dr Choussudovsky, he owned a patent (US No: 4,686,605) entitled "Method and Apparatus for Altering a Region in the Earth's Atmosphere, Ionosphere and/or Magnetosphere", under a contract with Atlantic Ritchfield Corporation (ARCO), whose subsidiary Advanced Power Technologies Inc (APTI), completed the first stage of the HAARP project.
The Epoch Times was unable to officially verify the ownership of the patent.
There has however been little official indication that HAARP is to be used for military purposes. Conspiracy theorists point to an extract from the Air University of the US Air Force, AF 2025 Final Report—a fanciful document of future technologies—as evidence.
It reads: "U.S. aerospace forces [will] 'own the weather' by capitalizing on emerging technologies and focusing development of those technologies to war-fighting applications ... From enhancing friendly operations or disrupting those of the enemy via small-scale tailoring of natural weather patterns to complete dominance of global communications and counterspace control, weather-modification offers the war fighter a wide-range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary."
However it is doubtful that the document, readily available online, carries any official indication of current policy.
A spokesman for the U.S. department for Defence was unavailable to comment on the accusation at the time of going to print.
