If it was part of the law that they AGREED to, (they didnt have to--but they did.) Then it was just on his part to do away with his defiant attitude.

There are not different interpretations. Read the Hebrew. He "wasted" the semen that was meant to produce the seed. Its plain and simple.

Which is why I said, he was not put to death for masturbation nor should this Scripture be used to condemn it.

It doesnt matter if you dont agree why he was put to death or not--thats just your opinion and has nothing to do with masturbation. Smile

As I said, it doesnt matter if you don't like it. Thats only your opinion, your just a human, we all are. You say you believe in a Creator (which in fact would be God considering anyone that can create should be called God.), if he asked you to do something you did not agree with, you dont really have respect for you creator as you say you do.

"Its not go and screw his wife." He was to carry on his family's seed. It was an acceptable thing during ancient times especially when "carrying on seed" was such an important thing. Dont play stupid and dumb it down to plain fornicating terms, thats not what it was about.

PersianPaladin was great until he flipped out and started lying about people here. I'm not holding any grudges against him, but did ban him for it. I think it may have stemmed from a misunderstanding about a missing post, but lying is lying and instead of attempting to resolve; he just continued. I'd let him back in if he apologized. I believe people can learn from mistakes.
