A FILM ABOUT a picturesque if occupied part of Cuba is set to become the first to be offered for legal download immediately on release.
The Michael Winterbottom film, The Road to Guantanamo is described as part drama, part documentary, and follows the story of three British Muslims who were held captive in Guantanamo Bay for two years before finally being released without charge.
The work is due to air on British Channel 4 Television tonight and will mark the first time a film has been made available for legal download at the same time as it's shown on television - and before it appears in the cinema.
The film will not go into cinemas until the weekend and is not due to appear on DVD until the 27th March.
