It wouldnt of made any difference what nationality that woman was. The point of that verse was she cried out. She received help because she cried out, not her race.

God needed someone to warn the people of what was to come. Noah was the only righteous man to be found. Can you tell me what nationality he was? Race didnt have to do anything with these scriptures. My friend we cant put them in a way to meet our own understanding. When God tells us to not lean on our own understanding. Another thing to remember is the Bible never contradicts itself.

Eight people went into the ark. Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives. In those 8 people God preserved the DNA of every race present on the earth today. You call that racism?

It's interesting to know that that Jesus never claimed to be Jewish. The only thing he claimed was that he is the son of man or son of God

You know, madthumbs, you are beginning to irritate me. Absolutly NONE of those quotes had ANYTHING to do with racism. You are just manipulating the text to make it agree with your thoughts; at least TRY to be open minded, ok? I'm not a full-fledged christian, but I'm not atheist either. I read this forum with a completely open mind, and I'm seeing more sense in Cody2's points. Rolling Eyes

I mean, come on! Even I have heard the story about Noah, so I know that 'perfect' meant holy,spiritual perfection, that kind of mumbo-jumbo, not racial perfection.

The point of this post is that the Bible is strung with hate all over it and people use it as morality text and then wonder why the world is so f--- up.

If I remember correctly, Jordan Maxwell made a good point once. He was reading verses out of the Bible and said it was talking about Astrology. Then went on to say that everyone was being told Astrology was bad.

I think the verse is Job 38 verses 31-32

The Bible isn't the "word" of god anyway. It's the word of man. Actually several men had their hands in it. If you really research the term "word" you will see it has a different meaning altogether. It's not to be taken literally that "god" actually has vocal cords, lungs and lips to shout out. It's to signify the energy used in creation.

And don't forget that before the bible came around, there were a LOT of crucified "saviours." Jesus wasn't the first. The link below isn't the only one. This info is plastered all around the internet. You'd have to confirm the information yourself though by going back to ancient texts.

No, that's just a guess. People were so afraid to use his name that they didn't include the vowels (supposedly).

I've seen it argued that his name is actually closer to IEVE.

Some call him JHVH.

The name is insignificant, what's important is how he's defined. The KJV is what started it all for the majority, and is what was used to spread Christianity most; so that's what I use. For all we know; anything else could be created to whitewash.

Hey dude, God does not hate homosexuals, if you are really a interested in the bible, which it seems like you are because you are very interested in this subject, you would know that God only hates sin. Their is no where in the bible where it says God hates any individual, and if so please point it out to me in scripture. I have read the bible and I am very familiar with the chapters. To put this in a better example lets say you are a parent and you found out your child is into heavy drugs, would you stop loving them and dissown them, HATE Them, no of course not. You would not like what your kid is doing but you still love them and will be there for them. This is what God does, he watches out for us and helps us when we stumble. Also for those of you who said the Bible is Mumbo-Jumbo, then how could one or many individuals predict such an accurate future. Reason they can't. READ REVELATIONS. Do you hear about the mark of the beast, for the right hand or in the forhead, Well gues what it is already out, it is a small chip that is inserted in your body. As small as a grain of rice. Also have you heard of a one world government,....same currency. Read the bible it has it in their to.
There is too much of a coincidence for all the bible to be a fake. For my final comment please do not read the Bible by only one verse, read the chapter at least, if not you will take verse's out of context and will be even more lost. Do not be ignorant and listen to people's one sided story. Remeber there is always two sides to something and read between the lines.
