Madthumbs hope you don't mind me doing this but seeing that we have a few CG artists here (you included!) I thought i'd make a thread so we can show of our latest creations.
Anyway here goes,
This is the droid from Star Wars IG88 an assassin droid who is in the midst of purchasing some thermal detonators. To continue his pursuit of Bobba Fett across the wastelands of tatooine. I was aiming for a cartoony look to the final picture and believe that I got that done ok.
Model took about 40 hours using 3D max 8.0, rendered with V-ray
