The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking

For me, I look away then look again and it sometimes changes.

Here it is slowed down a little:

Slowed down a lot:

-Here you should be able to look at the individual frames for a good time. (15000ms each)

i don't think it's my brain seeing it shift from clockwise to counter but the image itself is randomly changing the two directions. this test looks like a scam to me.

maybe i'm wrong...but right now i'm seeing this as a false brain test

- Nope: you didn't pay for this.

The raised leg can be either left or right in any of the frames and your perception of which leg it is makes the difference of which way it goes.

I got a lot of replies for this. Many can only see it go one way and thus think it's a trick.

I'm curious now, are the right / left functions matching up with the test results? I've known for a while that I don't fit on either side and the test seemed to affirm that.

OK then. I can see it from both ways too. Initially, I read it clockwise but, then I noticed the shadow at under the image. From there, it seemed it would make more sense that it would be counter clockwise. Even then tho, it would depend on the lighting creating the shadow.

Due to the shadow of the leg in the straight position down, it would have to be moving counter-clockwise because, the shadow created behind the leg in the out position, does not fall behind the shadow created behind the leg in the straight position down. Also, the shadow from the Leg out position is moving towards you. Or maybe this is just my left side fight the right side of my brain.

It can't be a shadow (no change in size as the image rises). My guess is that it's a reflection.

haha u had me going for a minute. If you look at it frame by frame it goes clockwise then after a few rotations it goes counterclockwise. I bet if you opened this up in a gif editor and looked at each frame it changes halfway through to go counterclockwise.

why must you mess with people noggins mt?

now which way is my avatar spinning? Twisted Evil
