This wouldn't be a problem if Humanity wasn't so dependent (debted) on money and the systems that revolve around it. That being said, the woman's decisions to have that many children within this system was a careless one. However from an ethical standpoint, it is not her who is wrong, but the nature of the money system itself.
I believe that ultimately, conforming to this system (which helps sustain it) is one of the most careless decisions society has and continues to make. Until we as a Human society break out of this system of control, we cannot graduate from this level of reality.
As Jiddu Krishnamurti once said, "It is of no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society."
