Is there a certain book you'd like to discuss? If so post the title and I will try to get a hold of it and read it and come up with some discussion questions.

so far ive read "a portrait of the artist as a young man".
and im reading Ulysses right now.
its really dense and hard to understand, so i read a synopsis along with it, chapter by chapter. that really helps, and it also helps to read his novels in order, because some of them contain the same characters.
when i read his first book, it also helped that it was the "enriched classics" version from penguin books. those are good because they contain information and analysis to help you understand. i wish they had an enriched version of Finnegan's Wake, because thats what im reading next. i hear it is the most dense and complicated work ever in literature.
so i have been pumping myself up to read Finnegans Wake to see if i would be able to understand it.
i have been intrigued by it ever since hearing terrence mckenna refer to the book being as close to a "psychedelic" work of literature as he had ever read.
i love literature, and i love psychedelic
however i dont know if i want to DISCUSS these books (that could take a lot of typing!) as much as i wanted to find a james joyce fan and see about their other favorite authors, or get suggestions on who else to read.
i will say one thing though.. normally i fly through books with ease, but this Ulysses is taking me some time.. i've been through a few sittings already and im only on like page 120! lol
