A cousin of mine knew someone with a garage full of lawnmowers that ran on saltwater. One day he paid a visit, noticed the garage empty and his friend wouldn't talk about it. Another person developed a carbeurator that got a limo 80+ mpg. The car blew up and he was killed -no fault of the carb.

Was Ed invited here?

my grandfather used to distill his own vodka in his basement. My mother told me once she used the vodka to fuel a lawnmower and it worked.

Yes; running engines on alcohol only requires a small carbeurator adjustment. During cold temperatures; the engine may need priming which can be done with a modification like a primer bulb. Alcohol will also strip the gel coating that gasoline will leave on things possibly making the fuel system rust faster.

If only I had the materials... ...Thank you for the instructions, mr. catfish. I should try and get the materials so I can take a crack at building one myself.

the pattern with anyone that invents a cheap power source. Meyers should have taken the money and built it secretly. He was too honest and trusting of the 'Angels'.

Developing a working model of this engine in a car and driving it around the country would be soooo subversive to the Establishment. Is Stan Meyer's car still in existence?

It's not an engine being developed, but a fuel source for an engine, any engine.

I would imagine his Family has everything from his estate, but you never know in the states.

This is fascinating. No wonder they come after you for making these things!

I suppose this can't be done on modern, fuel injected, coil-on-plug designed engines? I'll have to try it on my riding lawnmower. You can still order these kits from somewhere?

I wish I had a better science background. Do you need anything more than mechanical skills to do this to an engine? I've got some engine modification and mechanical repair experience.

If it helps, I had no experience of science or mechanics (apart from changing my clutch, wheel bearings and similar) before march of this year. I'm still pouring over the stuff tripled put up as torrents and I get very easily sidetracked! We have got a lawnmower engine running on the gas indefinitely and i'll post a video soon. My car's being weird though. The mileage is not consistent and the electrics keep going funny, things like the radiator fan stops working and the central locking was playing up for a while, but there's nothing wrong and it just seemed to fix itself!

My good friend who I've been experimenting with has designed all kinds of different sized and shaped cells all using food grade stainless steel. No nearer to getting a pulse system working though, the one the nitrous guys sent didn't seem to make any difference to gas production. I'm tempted to shout "help us tripled!"! but I think we're gonna get there.

My best advice is buy some tubes of high grade stainless steel, I got mine from the scrap bin at our nearest rolling stock warehouse (we're like family now and they think we're funny) and then mess about with it. Ol and I spent about a month just exploding bubbles and filling balloons with the stuff and blowing them up which is great fun! (be careful though) Laughing

Meyer' system can be used in ANY IC: Internal Combustion Engine. That's what it is designed for, any IC, appliance etc, that requires a "gaseous" fuel to operate, can use this system for it's fuel needs.

Hmm, running your "system" with the intact electrical system setup that is pre-installed for gas operation? O2 sensor etc etc

Start off with the tube within a tube design, say five inch length, like his videos, also like that fellow from your side of the pond did in those colour picture's at the back of the book, you should be out looking for him by the way.

Best advice i can give catfish: take some time off your experiments (the videos also, like i said, some great technical info is all) and put a week into reading the "Birth of a New Technology" this is truely some wonderfull stuff! Fantastic is a word that comes to mind...

As i said with my postings, Birth of a New Technology will teach you (most) everything about his system and how to apply it, but you really need to read and understand it first before you take the big leap into a fully functioning system, save actually building the required parts. (but if you think about them, and get really deep, you will begin to get an outline of what you require.)

Doesn't hurt if you find a local machinist either, in case one does not have the neccessary machinery handy.

Word of advice before you start the "Birth of a New Technology", take all the pictures in the document and print them out individually, this is definately a neccessary step while reading the book. Meyers did a really fine job in "making it hard to understand" Smile Then go through each "Memo" and continually reference the diagrams he mentions, and eventually you will pick up on the big picture, which will definately help you in building a fully functioning system.

Hell, if it takes you a month, then take a month...

If there's something you don't quite grasp about what he's saying/describing then hit the net or some electrical book's and find out first before you continue, you definately won't regret it. Also, print out that "ELECTRICAL PRIMER" i included in my "Guide to Free Energy Devices Website" torrent, should come in handy. Lot's of great schematics out there also, particularly the Xogen one's.

Myself personally, i can't put it down, it's just chalk full of information, right down to the "proton"... The system will come when you fully understand it, this much i can say, you just can't be in such a "hurry" to get there is all. Wink

"Seamless" stainless pipe, is probably the best, they also need to be "burned in" for best gas production.

Again, as the teachers use to say in school, read, study, and READ/STUDY again till you have it, you won't be disappointed! Remember you don't need to build a full blown system first, just start with a basic one and go up from there.

"How can you have any pudding if you don't eat the MEAT!"

Cheers!

PS: oops sorry, just noticed, advice was not asked for...Wink

or even know what is important. The Joe Cell seems to take a heck of a lot of experimentation to get working on a car. I could probably afford the kit from NuTech 2000, but then I'd have to get an old car to put in on as well.

The fact that people who experiment in this describe the energy in esoteric terms does not help in spreading this information, because any skeptic will immediately ridicule it as the demented ramblings of a mad scientist.

I like the Hydro boost kit. That's an approachable project for me. And I could see creating a welding flame from a Joe Cell, though that wouldn't be of any economic benefit.

I wish there was a group of people in my area, in the States, working on this. If I go on the Yahoo discussion group, will I find experimenters in the Southeast US?

This is intriguing.

From what I've read about cars powered by Brown's Gas, it seems that they don't run entirely on that gas and that petroleum is still used.

Do you plan to stop using petroleum completely?

If your going the way of Stanley Meyer's system, (which is not electrolysis) it is designed to work with only water.

That is the basis of his technology, not to use petrol at all.

The latest edition of Australia's Nexus magazine had a large article about "brown's gas" which I found very interesting and i'm suprised at just how many uses this gas has..makes you wonder why they are not producing it commercially? guess they make too much money of polluting fossil fuels.
Anyway I can't find an internet link to the article so if anyone wants it, I could photocopy it and sent it to you or try and get my old ancient scanner working!
