Interesting research in the video. I always suspected that calorie restriction was a key to longevity due to my great grandpa living to 112 and my grandpa looking healthier than me at time. (jk). Anyway it seems to me that fruits and veggies facilitate that because of their low amount of calories yet they satisfy hunger.
It really is the luck of the draw though. Come to think of it one of my neighbors when I was younger was this Irish lady who smoked a pack a day and she was about 90 years old and chugging along when I left my apartment a few years back.
