 Embedding Videos |

You can now auto-embed many videos simply by pasting the URL (not embed code),
Video hosts with the '*' require a special code instead of the url.
Code:  |  | http://v.[domainname here].[extension here]/[video id here] |
-Sometimes the id is in the embed code
Supported sites so far:
* = Will generate a download text link. or link image. Left click or hover for download instructions:  or  . Right click on these to "save as": 
* = Use just the url for the video in the embed code. Leave off the "." before the extension (flv) and everything after it for QuantumShift or the download link will not work.
*Leave the junk off the end of the url's:
google: remove the & and everything after it
Youtube: use the permalinks
Metacafe: remove the text (name of video) from the end -leave the / before it
Guba: remove the ? and everything after it
SpikedHumor: leave out the text of the url after the number along with the /
Veoh: use permalink
Livevideo: remove the channel from the perma url if there is one, and the unnecessary stuff at the end
Example, leave out bold sections:
-http://www.livevideo.com/video/socialservice/6F393F4DE41C4CF798CBB438E6378129/september-clues-part1.aspx
OR (easier to remember)
Click on the "Get Codes" link below the video and copy the url from the address bar (not the code they give you).
Peelmybell: Doesn't need the /whatever_is_here/ at the end
Disclose.tv: Anything after the number including the "/" will show up as junk, so please trim the end
*Please change google videos to .com if the source is from another country (change .ca or .uk to .com)
Videos that don't auto-embed can still be done manually by administration.

Want your video available as avi? Try Google video.
