This is a bitchfit...
I take Turkish to Seneca Park everyday, but on Thursdays, I have the day off so we spend hours at the park. Turkish is a weimaraner and you see quite a bit of them at Seneca park. I am no dog snob in anyway, but some of these people with these dogs, I just feel sorry for the dogs. They are trophy's, a converstation piece, and I fuggin pisses me off.
Today, we (Turkish and I) met Jackson. Jacksons mom stopped me and the two boys played for a second, until Jackson got mad and went after Turkish. His mom, the patented Range Rover driving, excessorising, soccer mom with a weimaraner asked me why Jackson wasnt socialised and how Turkish is. Hell, it blew my mind, but what do you expect, right!? I asked her how much time a day she spends with him and if he gets to play with other dogs as well as people. She said he go's to a personal doggie day care with only 3 other dogs, and she gets him after work and they got to the park and home. She ventured to tell me that she spent a lot of money to get a trainer for him but he is still destructive and disobedient.
This woman didnt not appreciate it when I told her, "the reason for his disobedience is because he does not have a stable relationship with his family. You cart him off to a trainer, then doggie day care, where he sits all day waiting for you only to take him to the park for an hour, walk the circle twice then sit at home." She got real defensive and said that her and her husband both work and do not have time. I replied, "then maybe you shouldnt have the responsibility of having a dog, if you can not teach him to be a great dog, cause thats all they want." Then I tied in this ever preasent scenario with society today and how the children grow up and are nurtured outside and away from their families. Held away from the spiritual, educational, emotional and physical influences they need to be healthy and "normal". These poor kids (and pets) that go through their penetrable adolesence, with no natural direction, become hard, distant and in-penetrable only to be labeled by these false, unnatural instructors in these facilities at which they spend the most impressionable years, a problem child.
She has two kids. They get on the school bus at the end of their street every morning, taken to school. From there they are trasnported by the school to a day care program where they do there homework and studies, until there parents pick them up. While here children spend their day, until 7pm the parents work, monday through friday. When they get home at usually 7:30pm they order out for dinner watch television or play video game, just to go to bed and do it all over again. Again she was defensive, and said the bills had to paid, so they must work. Turned around and got in her 40,000. $ Range Rover and drove away.

Mate i hate those feckin plastic self centred yuppies with their bohemoths on wheels. It's the same over here in Australia we also have an invasion of the "soccer mums" as you call them. always little short arsed blonde women driving a vehicle that looks like it should be a kenworth 16 wheeler because they want to feel "safe". Yep it's very sad how apathetic and materialistic today's society has become. Really makes you wonder what the point of having children / pets is if you cannot be their to look after them. A dog day care centre! how retarded can you get?
You see it everywhere you go the yuppie mum with brats in tow who has absolutely no control over their children. These will be the same kids who will later on in life turn to crime / drugs or booze as they will feel left out and not belonging and many will most likely commit suicide. Kids, dogs, cats and anything I left after require the utmost care and attention as well as love, they don't desserve to be dumped at day care centres etc.
