Most of the stuff I find ends up being posted already here, although I do perform a search and don't see the info in the search results and think maybe it hasn't been posted before.
But 9/10 times it has.

You've dug up some good stuff, and are probably far from the 9/10 ratio. The search doesn't exactly work very good since the cpu optimizations, so it's not your fault, and I don't expect searches for everything anyway. I'll try to look more into a better 3rd party search. I don't lock the threads to discourage, but to save the database size for server load, and redundancy for readers.
We prefer quality to quantity when it comes to posters here and favor the high lurker count. With that said, you're a valued poster and one of the ones I think we want. Sorry if my diplomacy on the situation is bad. I could probably use suggestions on that.
Btw... For someone being here since the second day, I've done my share of double posting. If you do a search for certain things on the vlog, you'll see that I've posted the same video multiple times. Bad thumbs!
I'm not mad, just.... frustrated I guess is the right word. I try to do the right thing for you since you work the hardest on this forum, but the others and you are just too darn fast and end up finding the good stuff before me. lol I feel bad and don't want to double post and want to save you from the CPU overages and bandwidth yet help spread the word on some stuff.
Maybe the search function is ok and it's only me that perhaps can't operate it properly.
I learn a lot from everyone here and will continue to visit quite a bit as always.

The search should omit results for common words. You should get the best results using a single uncommonly used word.
The database issue isn't a big deal. I'd rather have you posting, and it's my job to make it more efficient. It should be able to handle much more if I did good.
