De-activism - How to Demobilize a Movement |
|
Start a petition for the cause. Even if you submit the petition to it's target: it's still just a piece of paper or digital (fudgeable) record. The petitioners are left satiated feeling they did what they could. When people start to catch on to it's ineffectiveness, move to the next level by having a phone campaign. When people realize it's ineffective as well (with answering machines, turning the phone off, having secretary deal) then take it to the streets.
Organize it by calling people armchair activists, and complain about people never doing anything. Be sure to plant people like a dumbass with a megaphone to draw negative attention to your cause, or a person to throw something at the police so they can attack the crowd and take down names and intimidate / scare 'would be' activists. The idiot with the megaphone stays within boundaries and keeps the general crowd controlled so they don't overtake the public servants (mercenaries). People in large groups are followers in general, if a leader breaks ranks they'll be followed. With the megaphone: you control who their perceived leader is.
Make people think that you or your group are the only ones people can trust, then mix the truth with nonsense like:
Introduce religion that teaches that God put 'the powers that be into' place, to obey the laws, to support a group of people blindly, to turn the other cheek, etc.
Discourage. Tell people that approach you about an issue that they can't change it. Things are just the way they are.
Organize a posse of online disinformationists. (kinda like House Negros)
Divert attention by creating bigger stories. -Nothing like a little sensationalized media like the recent drunk astronauts who had a 12 hour no drink policy, with no blood alchohol test results even mentioned. Some distract from the real enemy by pretending to dig deeper like exposing the Jesuit Order, or Satan.
Promote mainstream outlets as good places for people to go. They're already good at giving people just enough to keep their attention while keeping them in the dark and demobilized.
Divide and Conquer. Convince your followers that they are enlightened, and others are sheeple. Tell them (your followers) that they think for themselves -lol! Their condescending attitudes and name calling will stifle any ground they could make in representing their (your) truths. Be sure to have mixed those truths with some nonsense they can tout as facts.

|
 | | About these pages
Welcome to the NutsOnline NUTS for Jericho home page, where fans from all over the world pooled their resources and their passion to send thousands of pounds of peanuts to CBS and SAVE Jericho.
During this historic campaign, fans sent in letters, photos, and crazy, great ideas! We've worked hard to preserve all these ideas and post them for posterity. Plus, we've made a permanent place for Jericho fans to talk about how NUTS they are for Jericho! |

I don't blame television, I blame the so called activists passing around e-petitions (of which I was once).
People who receive petitions know that people will sign any kind of propaganda cause. It's more of a reflection of the petitioner's effort, than the names on the petition's positions.
Most people will easily sign a petition against dihydrogen monoxide (water) for example:
Sometimes people will change their minds if it means they pay more taxes or have a dump relocated to their back yard.
Anyway, don't get mad about the support for television! Copy their actions! It's an example of a successful activism campaign we can learn from. We should be angered by the people killing the movements and force them to be more effective by exposing how they're deactivating.

Alex Jones looks like such a dumbass.

That's so true, I am the same. I'll post a few comments on youtube or on a forum or something and convince myself I've done my bit for the day and sometimes I'm too lazy to do that. I've almost come to terms with my fate already because everyone's so hopeless, I just apply the knowledge to myself and people around me, I think trying to "wake up" everybody isn't going to work which is what Jones and co want.

I wonder how far we could go with legal protest. Styrofoam peanuts can be mailed cheaply and are recyclable. I wonder how many business's throw them away. They could be mailed anonymously (but could possibly still be traced). They would have to be an organized effort so that it would be a noticeable event that would get people questioning.
It would probably be cheaper to mail my garbage than pay for service. Hmmnnn...
If anyone does anything like that, don't use mail or other pieces with identifiers on it (finger prints, etc), an it's still very risky.

What is the significance of the peanuts? You mean those things you get in big parcels?

Shipping would be cheap on a big box of them (shipping cost goes by weight). Nuts was a replacement word on the last show of Jericho I believe. Of course this event had a commercial aspect to it as well. I wonder if they were Kosher peanuts.

In fact, you end up with feeling hopeless BECAUSE you are following the likes of Alex Jones. You need to be critical of who is appearing to be on "your" side. Cuz otherwise, if you are hopeless, then YOU are, by default, on the enemy's side.

Yeah.. I'm here because I'm a Jones fan
Here's another thing:
- Introduce Ron Paul at a time of increased awareness, 'truthers' parrot his name around for another year (despite Paul making all of the secret hand gestures Jones is always moaning about) and delay any lasting solutions. This keeps them motionless for another year where either their efforts go to waste or they're left with a president who then will whitewash everything we've been fighting for and continue to blame Al Qaeda for popularity among the half-assed pretentious damage control alternative crowd.
- The Zionists suffer a MINOR setback, while their crimes remain whitewashed and can carry on behind the scenes anyway and vote in a new puppet next time.
- People become happy with the way things are and any serious discussion is left to small groups like this one.
- Back to square one.

Glad to see agreement on Ron Paul.
We don't need to remain small. We're merely a year old and already passing many similar much older sites when it comes to traffic. Much thanks to the people helping get the word out, and linking to us!
