2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God. |
Ah fair go, the 0.01% prayer success rate is because that 0.01% were actually using their brain given to them by the spirituality of the cosmic atom, while the other 99.99% were praying to the man-made god.

I still don't know what Xomba is, but I saw they used a piece from here, and got some replies: http://www.xomba.com/sex_in_the_bible_madthumbss_index_too#comment-7835
I was then divinely inspired by it to write this:
Here's where it's time for you to put on your pasty Christian smile where you are hit with the reality that's in your Bible which your subconscious absorbs but you choose to reject. You want eternal bliss so you forge on in your delusions acting as if you didn't see what just happened.
The rivalry between common sense and what you want to believe produces this nice Christian smile that makes for good pictures and commercializing Christianity. Meanwhile if we take a peak at some worship of these Christians, you'd think they're very unhappy, or manipulated by some Charismatic con-artist like Benny Hinn.
Children tend to learn fast. Lets shelter them from the truths of the Bible until we can get them thoroughly brainwashed into believing it. Then later in life they can get pasty smile that would persevere under the worst of conditions. Be thankful to God in everything. Thank him for all the atrocities, depleted uranium, diseases, etc. Everything God created is good after all; including that smile and Satan who he'll punish in a good lake of fire.
G-d bless!

You got that right M. First they are taught to love the baby Jesus. Remember the little hymn taught in Sunday SCHOOL, that goes "Yes Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me, THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO" Then 'they' go on to teach love and pride, all the wonderful things that make children feel great, important and LOVED.
This is followed up by the next lessons for teens etc of fear and obedience, That we are born of original sin, the Devil/Satan is ever watchful for sinners and will steal their souls, pride is sinful, (but they just got through teaching children to be PROUD?) .... Then comes the biggie, to be a good Christian you must OBEY GOD!!! (Or Satan will get your soul and you'll burn in hell for all eternity). Or similar BS
The question that should be asked is "Which God"? The creator (the Intelligent Cosmic Consciousness), or the man-made God(s) of the bible that teaches acceptance of all the atrocities committed in the 'name' of god???
How many times have we heard that deceitful expression from the bible thumers "In the NAME of God, What is happening?"
Why say "In the NAME of God" why not just "God, what is happening?" ... Do they know that god will never answer. And when he doesn't answer they'll tell you "You didn't ask the right way" "You didn't have Jesus in your heart" ad infinitum ... but it is always YOUR fault (you damned sinner you).
Here's the sort of person we are up against. http://www.trinityfi.org/press/JoyceMeyer2.html

Deuteronomy 4:38 38 To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 6:10-11 10 And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

That was an interesting interview with Deepak Chopra, I think the guy Misunderstood that in English you can refer to God alone and not attach a male or female identity.
He just had to say God and not he, lol

The Bible as History? |
|
 | | A response to a video by TogetherForPeace. This video explores just some of the reasons why the Christian scriptures do not qualify as historical evidence, at least with respect to the resurrection of Jesus.

The Bible's Buried Secrets |
|
 | | The PBS series "NOVA" has a very interesting episode on the degree to which the archaeological record does and does not confirm the historicity of the Bible. Link:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/bible/
For those outside the United States, one of my viewers indicates that the following link can be used to access the program. (I didn't know PBS doesn't make its programming available outside the United States. That's ridiculous.):

If you have any questions about this, contact user Riversonthemoon (I don't know anything about it). Thanks.
If all else fails, here's a link to PBS's YouTube channel where a number of bits from the program are available for viewing:
