The one view of the cop before she was shown in the car seemed to really enjoy doing what he was doing.
It's all about trauma and citizen shock. Those that don't get tasered at least witness it and makes them fearful of getting tagged as well. Or at least that's my opinion of why they are doing it.
What I saw was the man who's face would be sitting next to the definitiono of "Power Trip". I mean it's honestly scary how many times he tells her to : "Move over there or your gonna get it again" "Do you want it again, then do what I say" "Get to the next car faster or it's gonna be worst then last time" It's sick to see how much controll some of these cops seek to have over the victims or "criminals". He was acually enjoying himself at times.
MY question to you guys is this. What if you put yourself into the posistion of a cop who was present at the time, and did NOT agree with what he was doing with the taser? Do you speak out or just play it off? Either way it didn't look like any cops at the scene spoke up.

No, they can't do anything about it. They'd lose their jobs or be persecuted in some other way. They are part of the system. If they want to help, they will need to leave it. You might ask, can they not fight it from within? Maybe, but it would be inefficient and I don't think they can win.
Let's analyze the system: The police work for the politicians, they take orders directly from them, they get paid by them. The police are "policy enforcement officers" (polic-e). They enforce the policy of the politician lawmakers. To change the behavior of the police, you would need to change the policy of the politicians. To fight the politician's policy from within the ranks of the police is a fight they probably can't win. Basically, they'll be sending a clear sign to their employers, "I don't want my job anymore" and then the pressure will be applied. ("Get in line or you're out. Don't forget about your retirement, and family health benefits, and that kid you've got at home.") Since we know where the policy comes from, the source of the police's orders, we should fight it at that level. (To cure a disease, you don't attack the symptoms. You find and destroy the source.)
Yes, any police officer that doesn't see anything wrong with this, and goes along with it, is a sick person. That is undisputable. But if we can remove the orders to do it, and get them in trouble when they do, we would be taking a step in the right direction. Our real enemy in this instance is not the thugs that are doing it, but the politicians that order them to.
Of course, you can take another step back and realize that the picture is bigger than this, because the local politicians who are directing the police are themselves being directed at a higher level...but I digress. Attacking the supply chain would suffice to weaken the army, even if you didn't stop the war right away.
