Polaris,
Did they cite where in the Koran they got their statements from so we could check them in context?
Jesus says:
Quote:
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
But it's better understood in context. (Luke 19:27)
All this guy does is blabber off a bunch of un-confirmable opinion without backing it up. He's also ignorant of the Judaic religious books calling for racial genocide, enslavement, rape, infant genital mutilation, female oppression, witch (Wiccan) and homosexual killing, etc.
Israel, USA, etc create suicide bombers by stealing land, bulldozing homes, starving people, sexually harrassing, raping, killing, poisoning, etc.
"You can't be a moderate Muslim"
- Apply that to Judaism which is far worse.
I am against Islam, but I'm not going to resort to propaganda and hypocrisy like this video.
If the issue was really about how this film is propaganda then I would really like to hear arguments as to why it is considered propaganda. Just a little side note, you provided more reasons and argumentation for the extermination of all religious believers then you did for why this film is propaganda!
One definition of propaganda
Quote:
false or partly false information used by a government or political party intended to sway the opinions of the population
This film broke about every rule of disinformation in the 2 minutes I watched it. Random-ass out of context clips follow by grand insinuations like "the Muslims' goal is world conquest" - What Muslims? All of them? The ones that work in the curry houses and corner shops that I know? (pardon the stereotype) Massive hypocrisy from a proponent of an equally and moreso imperialistic, racist religion with unrivaled ferocity towards non-Jews as expressed in the Talmud.
Could you suggest a reason why this isn't propaganda? Is CNN in the least bit credible?
Even if it wasn't, is Islam really behind the world's problems at this moment in time? Or is the opposite what is expressed in this video true? As it so often is.
As far as the movie is concerned I agree that it would have been far more intellectually honest for the maker of the movie to have provided Koranic text to support his claims. It certainly would have fueled the propaganda message. Perhaps he did not deem it necessary to do so since he provides said text on his web-site. (http://www.jtf.org/info/koran.quotes.htm) After reading some of the verses I found myself forming my own opinion as to what they meant, but you should judge for yourself and even seek out a Muslim perspective of what these verses may mean, if that be your prerogative.
As far as providing a reason as to why this movie is not propaganda I have to say that I can not. By the definition you provided of what propaganda is and the claims that the maker of the movie makes about “all Muslims and world conquest” then this movie does fit the definition of propaganda. But I conceded as much in my very first post. Perhaps confusion set in when I used the word “possible propaganda” in describing this film because I had not yet come to a conclusion as to whether this was indeed propaganda. The issue for me was and still is how one comes to the conclusion that one ought to “Put all the Christians, Jews, Muslims in an arena and have them fight to death” based on a propaganda movie? Perhaps the comments that followed were all just hyperbole...
It wasn't his conclusion based on just one video, surely you would know that from frequenting here?

Hindu extremists attacked Christians celebrating Christmas in eastern India, ransacking and burning at least six village churches. One person was killed.
Four hundred and fifty police were deployed to quell the violence in the remote district of Orissa state where the churches – most nothing more than mud and thatch houses – were attacked. The violence had eased by yesterday.
There were conflicting reports of what sparked the unrest in Orissa, which has a history of violence against the state's tiny Christian minority. Some reports said Christians had attempted to attack a hardline Hindu leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad group, who led an anti-conversion movement.
"The situation was aggravated by some Christians forcibly stopping the 80-year-old Hindu leader Laxmanananda Saraswati and attempting to attack him," said Giriraj Kishore of the VHP. "When they were prevented from attacking him by his followers, the Christians hit someone with an axe and one Hindu died," he said.
But the Catholic Bishops Conference of India said the fighting began when Hindu extremists objected to a show marking Christmas Eve, believing it was designed to encourage Hindus at the bottom of the religion's caste hierarchy to convert to Christianity.
An argument over the Christmas show got out of hand and some of the Hindus opened fire on the Christians, wounding three of them, said John Dayal, a spokesman for the Bishops Conference.
The Hindus then went on a rampage on Christmas Day, chasing people out of six churches and setting the buildings ablaze, he said.
Later, dozens of people from each community clashed, Mr Dayal said. One person was killed, he added, but could not say if the dead man was a Hindu or Christian. Another 25 people were wounded, the Press Trust of India news agency said.
You know, this is why I think that they should f*kn bulldoze Jerusalem. Just bulldoze it........Make it a big f*kn dot in the world, and voilà, no more problem!
Zionism in its totality is a global conspiracy. Behind the whole modern Zionist conspiracy are financiers who belong to a specific bloodline ubiquitous in positions of power. They believe that their lineage is "chosen". It is a belief system that has been responsible for historical undertakings such as the Crusades, European Imperialism, the destruction of indigenous ways of life world-wide, Manifest Destiny, White Supremacy, both World Wars, the ongoing destruction in Africa, the War in Iraq, the PSYOP against Iran, China, etc., and all the superficial controlled oppositions pertaining to them. These variants are all driven by the same underlying ideology -- the religious concept that a "race" of people are axiomatically superior to all other "races" in all aspects of Humanity.
What is happening in Palestine has already been happening globally. Therefore suggesting that the destruction of Jerusalem would solve the problem is nothing more than a distraction. Additionally, the video's suggestion to "bulldoze" Israel will only help reinforce the planted "Anti-Semitic" stereotype associated with the propaganda against Ahmadinejad and against the Anti-Zionist movement as a whole. The fact of the matter is, the Balfour Declaration (which was originally contrived by the British) could just as easily selected a different region anywhere in the world other than Palestine to establish a national home for the so called "Jews" in "exile".
As soon as people stop playing into the religious storylines which this whole Zionist global conspiracy feeds off of, the easier it will become to expose it in its totality. Truth is, the conflict (aka genocide) in Palestine gets a heck of a lot more coverage than many other major crises happening elsewhere in the world. While mainstream news and many alternative "truth" movements invest so much time focusing on that area of the world, not much attention is often given to the high rate of rape of Native North American women (by Non-Native men), or the nuclear toxication of the Bikini Atoll and the generational poisoning operation against its indigenous people. These too, are forms of genocide and ethnic "cleansing" which are derivative of the institutionalized totalitarian power structure we see encroaching on a global scale.
This whole conspiracy isn't just a war on the Palestinians, it is ultimately a war on you.

If we bulldoze Palestine, why not USA?
We brought them savages* Christianity by force after all.
Why use a bulldozer ?
A few Daisy cutters placed on all that is religious should do the job quite well.
When all the holy places have been burned to the ground there will be nothing left to fight over except some blackened dirt.

Thanks for saying what needed to be said. Many are going to get on here and call you either an antisemite or an Islamaphobe, but their clashing religions are causing real pain and suffering. There is nothing special about either group, Gawd didn't promise either of them that land and they need to get over themselves already.
The first sentence of the next comment is a favorite of mine.
Quote:
They should release wild pigs in the area to make to make the whole place unholy for both sides.
F*ck both sides by the way, the palestinians play the professional victim but they also elect these blood thirsty maniacs hamas into office. Then again hamas provides a lot of social services, and much more effectively then fatah ever could.

I'm very surprised at the lack of support for Israel in the comments. I would have thought there would be more opposition. The problem is, I don't think there are any logical arguments on their side. All religious bluster and sappy emotional meditations on the holocaust. Yes, I'm sad about the holocaust too... but there's no reason to be surrounded by people who hate you when there are other places to live without the intolerance.

Lindsay suggested implementing the same conflict resolution strategy we use with our dogs: "If you're going to fight over it, no one gets it." As far as sympathy for each side, it's hard to sympathize with the best equipped military in the world actively deploying against kids with rocks and their older siblings who fired off rockets that MIGHT, if well aimed, destroy a taxi. If both sides were equivalently funded, equipped, etc, "picking sides" might be ALMOST a sane option.
I say if they want to fight send them to the arena. If they want to act like barbarians we should give them a place to act upon those urges so they can keep the rest of us out of it. For a supposedly mostly secular movement Zionism sure acts heavily religious and barbaric. The smarter Jews came to NYC and retire to Florida.
