This seasons supreme court decisions.
My favorite is the decision that gun ownership is an individual right, and that the militia is actually the population at large. But other than that there were some lemmons.
Thank goodness their decisions only apply to their subjects. For everyone else, its just their opinion. Since they are our servants, we should sarcastically thank them for spending so much time and money deciding things that we could have just told them.
Supreme Court: "We have finished our week long session to determine gun rights. We have decided that the people have a right to bear arms! Hooray!"
People: "OK, how much money did it cost to decide this?"
Supreme Court: "About ten thousand dollars or so, not counting what was embezzled or the child prostitutes we used."
People: "We're deducting that time and those expenses out of your paychecks."

Federal Judge rules Patriot Act... Un-Constitutional!
Quote:
CNN reporting on a finding where a U.S. Federal Court Judge in Oregon ruled that a provision in the Patriot Act regarding warrant-less searches to be unconstitutional.
Though this is not a Supreme Court decision I thought I could give this thread a little more life.
