I hadn't originally wanted any symbols on the forum and would probably have made this site pretty generic looking if it wasn't for our good friend Illuminated. When he set up the original forum for me, I was blown away at how nice it looked! He found the original graphic used in the top middle logo, and edited in the name and "OD". I personally spent a lot of time making the symbol look nice and animated (with no prior photoshop or animation shop training). Illuminated also inspired me to install multiple templates, emoticons, and mods (which I dragged my feet on).

It's come to my attention that some people may be turned away by the logo/ symbol. I've also noticed that it probably doesn't appeal to someone looking for just alternative health information. Here's an example of a few I've come across:

first look at the websites itself, does it have masonic symbols like thumbs does? well its probably a Information Awareness Office site, I'm not saying thumbs site is Gov't controlled, but I would not use Masonic Symbolism on it to be credible with me. Just my opinion, thats all.

-This is coming from one of the few forums I believe are free of Zionist control, so it does concern me.

I chose "Who cares if it scares away ignorant people?".

By just looking at the amount of members and activity in the forum provides enough proof for me that this forum isn't government controlled. Nobody has ever censored anything I posted. People shouldn't judge a site by how it looks. It's just like judging a book by its cover.

I wanted to find out from you why you have that logo. Some people are already noticing that there is a Jewish star and that logo, and they are wondering if it is because you are actually working with Zionists:

im going with other.

i agree that i dont care what anyone thinks about it.
but it certainly is a 6 pointed star.

maybe we should look into a new logo?
compile ideas and see if we can make something suitable that makes everyone happy.

but then again, i know what its like to come up with something you like, and not care what anyone thinks about it otherwise.
so i dont mind it, i dont care what people think of it, im sure we have talented people here that could come up with something everyone likes. but again, the logo is not the reason were all here.

i guess thats a pretty indecisive answer...

-Hmmn.. I really like your signature though it wouldn't work for the dimensions of the logo.

Here's a copyable version of the image if someone wants to play around with it (using it as a template for size/ dpi/ etc). You may want to copy the background to sample it over and make sure it will work. We could make a poll or would there be more incentive if someone who wanted to do it didn't want to waste their time competing?

It shouldn't be overly animated or flashy, void of possible symbols or turn offs, etc. I spent a lot of time cleaning up the current image and animating that eyeball so I don't easily want to replace it. Razz

In my opinion, the Illuminati symbol denotes a particular type of illumination. Some of us who consider ourselves illuminated may reject the masonic symbols.

The oldest examples of 'illumination' are simply an aura/nimbus surrounding a person's head. As far as I know, it is not religio-specific, or creed-specific.

Over time, the Roman Catholic Christians seem to have taken this aura and placed it more above the head rather than behind. I would certainly avoid that.

Buddha with it:

Apollo with it:

Krishna with it:

Shamash with it:

I like these non-conspiratorial/religious versions:

Is it just me? People tend to hang with those that are funny or not so serious? If we are serious about increasing the IQ of the world. we must get them to think independently and try to solve it on their own... this world maybe just an illusion and we are all dreaming... the more you talk, the more they'll likely believes you hints the flaw in human mentality? do you see this technique being used frequently? lots of bs = truth, just keep doing it until it sinks in.
if we are here to debate then we're wasting our time
if we share something that nobody know then that's invaluable cause then everyone know something that they didn't know before.

@ alexclaton2

i completley agree. but thats not the topic of this thread. i know, why are we debating on something so trivial as the logo? well i like graphic design. and it has come up that the logo unintentionally has a star of david in it. and thats pretty ironic for the things we discuss on this forum.and besides, i work every day and support myself. if the time comes when a revolt would physically need my help then i would gladly assist. but this is not that time. we must think before we act.

@ Aeon

good pics to help in the creative process but it also has to be 100% original if im going to be involved.

Could we maybe avoid some ignorant people by keeping the logo? Popularity of this site is growing fast despite the "illuminati" look to it.
