Allow the video to fully load in your browser. The video is now already saved in your tmp or cache folder, but needs moving and renaming with the flv extension (Should be the largest file in the directory).
In Internet Explorer, you can get to the temp folder using:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Settings -> View Files (within Internet Explorer).
If you're using Ubuntu / Linux, you can use your file browser and unhide files then:
/home/*user*/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/Cache is where you'll find it.

So far there is support for this url format (not the permalinks given): | | http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/(videoIDhere) |
The permalinks given appear to lead to the channels instead of the video. The url of the video you want should be in the address bar of your browser.
