There is a developing story from California that involves a mother with a 17 year old child who HAD melanoma. The mother, chose to go against her allopathic (conventional) doctor's orders (to have surgery and chemotherapy) - and instead try advanced natural medicine first - since she understood that supporting the body's ability to heal is more effective than destroying it as chemotherapy does.
Not surprisingly this approach worked! This young man is now CANCER FREE!! However, the allopathic doctor is insisting that the child must have chemotheray as well as surgery, which the mother refuses to have her child undergo. Interestingly, doctor, the allopathic doctor's unnecessary treatments will be compensated by the insurer or state, while the holistic strategies that actually worked are not eligible for coverage.
The Department of Child Services was called and her son was taken away from her and put in foster care. The DCS claimed she failed to properly care for her child. Note here: the advanced methods which worked are being defined as "child abuse" while the doctor's assault (which is what we call touching someone against their will) is supported by the power of the state. Is this Health Freedom?
Next, the mother was put in jail for 5 days in maximum security and suffered injuries in the neck and arm from jailers. Her child is still in foster care, where he was forcibly vaccinated. Disgusted yet? It gets worse...
The case is pending in Dependency Court in Orange County where the Judge is soon to rule whether her son will be ordered to have surgery and chemotherapy.
This 17 year old near-adult does NOT want to undergo chemotherapy or surgery and was forcefully vaccinated while in state custody. We support this brave young man and his clear thinking mother in their struggle to preserve his freedom. In doing so, they are struggling to preserve ours.
Now, while I agree that DCS shouldn't have taken the guy away, I don't think you're being exactly fair to the doctor. While yes, the alternative treatments work without destroying the body, there is very little evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness, as it has not, (to my knowledge, at least) been as well documented as chemotherapy has been. THe doctor it seems, was just trying to do his best with what he had to make sure the teen was safe. He was merely following the hippocratic oath to preserve life. I do not think that he should have been forced into chemo and surgery, but I do think it's necessary to understand why it happened.

Pharmaceutical companies are overstating the effectiveness of their drugs, and may be placing patients at greater risk, because animal laboratory studies they fund are biased, it was claimed yesterday.
A survey of nearly 300 animal-test studies involving six different experimental drugs suggested that such flawed methodology is rampant in the drug-testing industry.
About two-thirds of the studies, which were all aimed at testing drugs with the potential to treat stroke patients, did not use a proper "randomised blind" methodology, the British Association's Science Festival in York was told.
A similar proportion did not conform to the standard methodology where the experimenters were deliberately left "blind" as to which animals have been given the drug until the end of the experiment. "We show that animal experiments modelling human stroke often overstate how good drugs are at treating stroke," said Malcolm Macleod, a consultant neurologist at Stirling Royal Infirmary, who led the stroke study.

I believe they ordered surgery and chemo, not any lab work.

No, they were doing what's best for his business. Here's a surgeon that gives the skinny on chemo:

That's exactly what this is about. You're arguing on points you're not understanding. Do some reading, watching, and checking links. You'll see the answers are already here.

This is a reply to Crank's comments that "we weren't being fair to the doctor as alternative health measures for cancer haven't been proven and the effectiveness of chemo has." Indeed, the doctor WAS probably acting out of concern for the child. but so was the mother. It was demonstrated that the child no longer had the cancer, yet he was still removed from the home and it will come up in court whether or not he will have to undergo chemotherapy. The Mother needs to get a medical attorney. There is no demonstrable evidence that melanoma is helped with chemotherapy. There are a gajillion side effects to chemo, the #1 being DEATH, and the #2, advanced metasteses. The attorney could demonstrate that the child no longer has the disease and thus chemo is no longer necessary...BTW I have been a nurse who has worked in Hospice care for over 20 years and there are few nurses who would even consider chemo FOR ANY REASON, no matter how dire the situation...We have seen too many people who have died from the treatment [i.e. chemo, radiation], and NOT directly from the disease. There is too many pharmaceutical lobbyists who hold hands with the FDA, the oncologists make money from the insurance agencies who are billed for the chemo treatments, and so there is not much motivation to try ANYTHING that is NOT lining someone's pockets.
Anyway, Crank, you really must become better informed about chemptherapy, and for that matter, radiation, in the treatment of cancer. Don't believe the statistics of the American Cancer Society either....The cancer Industry is huge!!! You, my dear, may be in need of information about alternative health sometime in your life, or in the life of someone you hold near and dear.
You're right, Elaine, I may require information, because I don't know all of it, that would be why I said to my knowledge. While I might've been unclear on some subject matter, I would ask that you place all of my statements, and not just what fits your argument, into your posts.
It's all about money, greed and power. In my mind's eye, it appears as a net. And this net system captures many things... some good, some not so good. It's wrapped up with the government so deep, that often it's difficult to see what's what. Just imagine those fishing vessels out in the open ocean. They have huge nets they drag along the ocean bottom and grab anything and everything with no care of consequences. The only thing that matters is a bulging pocketbook to those people.
Like the others say, do some research.
Although it's not entirely fair to group in all physicians under this sort of thing, for there are some out there that are good and do abide by the oath and don't like to unnecessarily subject people to treatment that may do more harm than good. But these doctors come out and tell the patients of the risk of such procedures. At the same time they don't encourage people to try homeopathic methods, because this might potentially reduce their paycheck. It's kind of two-faced, but they do it because they don't want to lose their jobs by going against the grain.
Then again there are always exceptions. There are few doctors that employ energy healing and/or Eastern medicine. There is a benefit to combining spiritual healing with allopathic medicine, along with massage, counseling, energy healing and herbs. Read the book entitled "The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe" by Lynne McTaggart for results of scientific studies on non-allopathic healing. These energy healer doctors often operate in secret and appear to outsiders as conventional, while all along they are using their abilities to assist in healing and many times the patients don't even know about it. Just think how the industry would start a witch hunt if they found out. Locating such a doctor would be difficult.
It really is mind over matter. The body follows the mind, and not the opposite. How many times have you seen someone get a disease, only to publicly deny they have the disease, take on a positive attitude and end up healed? The doctors call these events "miracles" and they strive to understand. At the same time, another person could be told they have a disease and what do they do? They believe in it, lose hope and end up dying quickly.
Allopathic medicine isn't the ultimate in health care. Too often we forget the mental and spiritual aspect of it all, and attempt to separate it from the physical. As if we're only an organism that's a vat of chemical processes and nothing more. But we are much more than that.
The case posted is sad but the legal thinking behind it is incorrect. The kid is 17 years old! If the same kid murdered or attacked someone he would be tried and convicted as an adult, right? But since this is a medical case, he's instead treated like a minor. Try to put logic into that!
In the end, it all boils down to money, power and control. After all, the elite of this planet think the rest of us John and Jane Does are utter idiots, unable to comprehend their "illumined" minds. Knowledge protects. Do your own research and don't believe anything that anyone tells you. Learn and experience for yourself.
They have tons of interviews from different people on many subjects. There's a lot of healing going on from doctors that have noticed other ways besides chemicals to heal others.
Don't forget Royal Raymond Rife and what happened to him and his work.
TO BE HONEST OUR SOCIETY IS HERE TO LOOK AFTER EVERYONE THAT IS IN IT AND THEREFORE NO MATTER THE COST, SHOULD PROVE THIS....MEDICS NOWADAYS ARE JUST LOOKING FOR ANSWERS AND SHOULD NOT BE THE ONLY ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR CURES...THIS BOY IS ALIVE AND HEALTHY, SURELY THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR...THERES NO POINT IN TURNING IT INTO SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE THAT MOTHER HAS TAKEN HER OWN WAY AND GAINED SO MUCH MORE THAN DOCTORS AND NURSES AS SHE HERSELF HAS HELPED HER LOVED ONE...BASICALLY I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD LOOK AT THIER PRIORITYS AND PUT WHATS MOST IMPORTANT AT THE TOP OR EVERYONE INCLUDING ALL THE IMPORTANT FIGURES IN OUR SOCIETY WILL LOOSE COMPLETE CONTROL.

If the kid is cancer free, then why should he undergo surgery and chemo?
This is some scary stuff indeed. What it comes down to is the obvious fact that the game is rigged. In science, one can prove, or choose to deny any fact they wish to, by means of collectivism and erroneous logic like: majority rule (everyone knows cholesterol causes heart disease, safety threat (if you don't get vaccinated, you are not only putting yourself in danger but others), and hypocrisy (ohh, don't take herbs, they are risky and untested).
The bottom line is one cannot expect to become well informed from any organization or "approved literature." If you can read through the lines really well and if you understand statistical manipulation and if you are well versed in legalese etc, you can get pretty far. But the fact is if you choose to play by the rules of official dogma, you're swimming against the current with leg weights. Yes, you can make it to your destination, but not without exhausting yourself, while necessarily learning "known facts" just so you can rid yourself of them later.
That being said, it's not like you can just run to anyone who is sponsoring alternative viewpoints and assume the information is truth.
But in the case of cancer for instance, all this talk about "proven" vs. "unproven" treatment is double speak. A cancer treatment is "proven" to work if a certain percentage of patients (this is determined AFTER the results of the study are finalized, often only around 30% of the total patient population or so) given the treatment survive 5 years after treatment. If that small percentage of patients survive 5 years and die two days after the deadline, they are still considered a success. Not to mention the added attempts to mislabel iatrogenic deaths and so on.
But the kicker is that most of these "terminal" conditions are never done with double blind placebo controlled studies because "it is unethical to not provide treatment for some patients and not others." This sounds benevolent and quite matter of fact for most patients and so they sign their health away to the white coats in record numbers. The truth is, if placebo controlled studies would be done with many of these cancer treatments, it is very likely we would find that the placebo group would last longer than the other group. This is because the therapies used considerably deprive your body of its critical restorative ability.
Even in the uncommon occurrence that the cancer regresses 100% after therapy, which certainly has been the case once in a while, it doesn't mean anything unless the person goes right back to practicing the same lifestyle behaviors which led to the proliferation of cancer in the first place.
You can think of it as a cold, only on a more longer timeline, with more serious symptoms. If you get rid of a cold, you may believe you are "temporarily immune" because it is very rare to get two colds one after another. The truth is, a cold is a form of internal catharsis which is triggered often times by an imbalance of toxins which overburden the body to the point where something must be done. Imagine a windshield getting a slight mist of rain...nothing even close to worrying about. Then picture small tiny isolated drops here and there...maybe 5 or so over the entire window. You don't do anything. Eventually over 10 minutes lets say, enough sprinkles accumulate so that it makes it difficult enough to see that you decide to flip the wiper on. Catharsis. What now? Looks like you are cured of the raindrops. Until a few minutes later, and so on. People get colds and flus in the same way. Cancer is no different. As soon as you have had a 100% regression of cancer, all that means is the process is going to start over again if you continue bad habits. Keep eating white flour, sugar, dairy, and omega-6 and trans oils, and guess what, before you know it that critical stage will be hit once again.
The industry loves doing one thing...taking you out of the picture. For your sake and theirs. Nothing is more convenient for them and more hopeless for you than disease that is caused by viruses, bacteria, and your own genetics. Wonder why these are the main culprits? Because there is nothing you can do. All you can do is trust modern medicine. A virus causes Polio? Shit I need a vaccine! What, I got a Staph infection? Damn, gimme the antibiotics. Ohh, I have a predisposition to brain tumors! Well shoot I guess I do need that chemotherapy after all.
"When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail."
Don't wait for alternative medicine to be FDA approved or for some massive movement to overthrow the establishment. This will only happen when enough individuals finally do the research themselves and decide for themselves what the definition of good health is. Thats number one. First you have to ask yourself what is MY definition of good health? Most people don't do even THAT! They believe that surrogate markers for Tcell counts, or LDL levels or blood tests etc are a good way of measuring health. I've never heard anything more insane in my life.
Cancer is easy to avoid. The real problem is are people really willing to do away with the foods of commerce and the devitalized agra-business practices which they have become so accustomed to. We live in an age where Applebee's tastes better to some people than a fresh truly vine-ripened tomato does. I talk to a lot of people who are looking to get in better health, and they know that I am into "natural health" and always ask me how to do this, or how to do that. Often times when I explain to them what the deal is, and what they have to do I might as well be speaking to a deaf blind mute. They shut down. They even tell me, "you know, I think what you are studying is really interesting, but there is no way I could live like that."
Most people that become dedicated to cancer and alternative methods are very often ones who have had it hit them close to home and they were faced with reality of dying. It seems it always takes people a giant clash or catastrophe to start making changes. This is the true hurdle we must all overcome. We have to find within ourselves the capacity to start defining our lives based on what we want them to consist of.
As far as the 17 year old and his mother. I fully embrace anyone who takes measures to regain control of their choice in their health. I think it's absolutely criminal what resulted by the bureaucratic policy that they were subjected to. This nonsense can end tomorrow if enough people wake up.

This is an interesting article... however I was wondering if there was any other site/source to get this article/development from? I read through the link you provided (Original Poster)... and just wont to cross reference this news to make sure it is some what legit. As it stands now, this site you provided is the only place to find the information you provided... and most stuff I read on here I try my best to go and research what I can when it peeks my interest... and this story is something I would like to see some "meat" to it.

Good point xfxMike! I've seen sites that appear to just fabricate stories, and it does seem odd that this one doesn't include any names or places that can be verified. All we know is that it's supposedly somewhere in California, and they want our money for it.
Maybe some of us should write to:
